We Provide Emergency Assistance to Flood Victims in Germany
Thousands of people lost their lives in the flood that occurred as a result of heavy rains in Germany in July 2021, while hundreds of people lost their lives. Many houses and cars were damaged and unusable due to overflowing rivers as a result of heavy rains. As a result of the collapse of roads and bridges, many people lost their lives while trying to escape from the flood. After the flood disaster in the country, electricity and natural gas could not be supplied to the region for the first 40 days, and the people of the region struggled with the cold weather for days. 200,000 disaster survivors had drinking water problems and could not access clean water and they held on to life in harsh conditions.
As Hilfe Ohne Grenzen, with the support of you, our donors, we carry out emergency relief efforts for the victims of natural disasters all over the world, who are trying to survive in harsh conditions. In this context, we provided blankets, food and drinking water aid for those in need who were left homeless as a result of the flood disaster in Germany and who struggled with hunger and thirst.
